Savana Security · Service and website terms

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain what our free tools and technology services do, what you are responsible for, how we handle computer and property risks, and where legal rights are preserved.

Effective: November 1, 2026 · Version: 2026-11-01 · Read our privacy information

Important: Our public diagnostic tools are educational and informational. Computer repair, remote access, security consulting and project work require a separate agreed scope and explicit authorization. No provision below waives rights or obligations that applicable law does not permit parties to waive.

1. Who we are and when these terms apply

“Savana Security,” “we,” and “us” refer to the business operating savana-security.pages.dev. “You” refers to a visitor, prospective customer, customer or person acting with authorization for an organization. Contact: savanasecurity@gmail.com.

These terms govern use of this website, its free public tools and inquiries submitted through it. When you submit a form specifically acknowledging these terms, that acknowledgment is recorded for that submission. A paid engagement may also be governed by a separate estimate, statement of work, service agreement or payment-provider terms. An individually agreed written service contract controls if it expressly conflicts with these general website terms for that specific engagement.

Browsing a public page alone is not represented by us as a signed agreement. If you do not wish to accept a requested agreement, do not submit the associated acknowledgment or purchase the service. You must be at least 18, or act through a parent or legal guardian who can lawfully authorize the activity.

2. Free public tools and external information

Our public Minecraft, DNS, SSL, IP-visibility, password-practice and online-presence tools are free to use without purchase or contribution. Outputs are point-in-time estimates or observations based on input data and third-party systems. Public status failures do not prove that a server or website is offline; SSL, DNS and browser checks do not constitute a comprehensive security assessment; password-strength feedback is educational and is not a guarantee that a password cannot be compromised.

We may limit automated requests to maintain service reliability, correct errors, temporarily suspend a tool or change available features. Do not use these tools as your sole basis for critical decisions, incident response, legal conclusions, business continuity or safety-related action. Validate important results independently.

Some tools send public hostnames or server addresses to a fixed external service, as explained on their pages and in our privacy information. We are not responsible for third-party systems outside our control, but will exercise reasonable care in choosing and integrating them.

3. Permission and acceptable use

You must own or have permission to check, test, assess or provide information about any server, website, account, computer, network, device or business you submit. You agree not to use the site to probe private systems without permission; overload services; bypass access restrictions; exploit vulnerabilities; submit malware, credentials or sensitive third-party records; impersonate others; or violate applicable laws or third-party service rules.

Our free tools do not grant permission to access, alter, scan or interfere with a third party’s systems. We may reject abusive requests or pause access to protect customers and the service.

5. Computer, data, property and remote-access safeguards

For customer equipment and remote support, see our repair privacy notice and printable work authorization before approving a job.

Your authorization: We will not intentionally access your computer, accounts, files or network without your permission and an agreed scope. You must have the authority to grant that permission. Administrative privileges, remote control, data transfer, deletion, reset, drive formatting and other potentially irreversible operations require the relevant additional authorization before we perform them.

Backups and data: You are responsible for arranging a current, independently verified backup of important files before repair, reset, migration or troubleshooting whenever reasonably possible. Tell us about critical data, encrypted disks, damaged hardware, unstable storage, required software, warranties and time-sensitive systems before work begins. If you lack a backup, we will discuss the risk and may defer work or request written approval of a backup or recovery plan. We will not treat a general website acknowledgment as permission to erase data.

Known technical risks: Faulty storage devices, malware, power failure, incompatible drivers, existing defects, customer-provided credentials or third-party software may create risk of downtime, loss of access, configuration changes or data loss. We will use reasonable care, document significant actions as appropriate and explain material known risks before undertaking destructive work. These risks are not a waiver of responsibility for damage we cause through unlawful or otherwise actionable conduct.

Property: Customers should identify existing damage and retain ownership of equipment. For any equipment drop-off, pick-up or on-site job, we should provide a separate intake or work authorization identifying equipment condition, authorized work, handling, return arrangements and responsibility for parts or shipping. We do not assume custody, insurance coverage or unlimited replacement obligations merely because someone submits this website form.

6. Accuracy, warranties and service limitations

To the extent permitted by law and except for express commitments in a paid written agreement, this website and its free informational tools are provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, freedom from errors or suitability for any particular purpose.

We do not promise to prevent cyberattacks, recover every file, remove every infection, make equipment immune to future failure, achieve a particular performance level or eliminate all legal and business risk. This statement does not limit any nonwaivable statutory warranty or consumer protection, or any specific written warranty we provide.

7. Limitation of liability — subject to applicable law

For claims arising only from use of the free informational website tools, and only to the extent applicable law permits, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages such as lost profits, anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity or reputational loss resulting from reliance on free tool output.

For paid technology services, any agreed liability allocation or cap should be stated clearly in the individual written service agreement for the specific project; this website does not substitute a broad automatic cap for such an agreement. Any exclusions or limitations apply only to the extent lawful and reasonable in the circumstances.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where nonwaivable, or other claims and remedies that applicable law protects. Nothing limits a customer’s rights to seek relief for legally actionable damage to their data, equipment or other property.

We encourage prompt written notice of a concern so the parties can preserve evidence, investigate what happened and discuss a reasonable remedy. Do not destroy affected hardware, logs or other relevant evidence.

8. Concerns, disputes and governing law

If you believe a service or tool caused a problem, contact savanasecurity@gmail.com with the project details and relevant dates. We will make a reasonable effort to discuss the concern and identify an appropriate response. This informal process does not remove any legally mandated deadline or prevent a party from seeking timely relief.

Oregon law generally governs these terms to the extent its application is permitted. Any court proceeding must be brought in a court that has jurisdiction and venue under applicable law; we do not impose a mandatory arbitration clause or strip consumers of a legally available small-claims or other forum.

9. Your content, changes, severability and contact

We retain rights in our original website content, code and branding, subject to valid third-party licenses. You retain ownership of your submitted materials and give us permission to use them only as needed to respond to your requests and provide agreed services. Customer reviews are subject to moderation and our privacy disclosures.

We may update these website terms prospectively by publishing a revised version with an updated effective date. Changes do not retroactively alter a previously agreed paid contract without required notice and agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent legally permissible.

Practical notice: This page is a general policy framework, not a replacement for a task-specific signed work order, appropriate business insurance or review by an Oregon-licensed attorney. Particularly for physical equipment, remote access, repairs and cyber incidents, the actual service agreement should match the risk of the job.
